Kuala Lumpur, 30 May 2019 – INCEIF and ISRA today joined forces to organise the Khatam Al-Quran on campus in our effort to pursue the tradition of enhancing Islamic teachings during the holy month of Ramadan. Some 40 staff were joined by INCEIF students to complete the recitation of 30 Juzuk of the Al-Quran for an hour before Zuhur prayers. The event was held today to show our support for the World #QuranHour which is a high impact campaign initiated by a non-profit organisation, Warisan Ummah Ikhlas Foundation. This year’s World #QuranHour falls on 25 Ramadan 1440H/ 30 May 2019 with the theme ‘Global Challenges Solutions’. The campaign aims to establish a solidarity platform to unify the global ummah under the banner of Al-Quran whilst capturing the spirit of the 10 blessed days towards the end of Ramadan.
