Kuala Lumpur, 20 Jan 2017: INCEIF today had the pleasure of hosting 32 students from Kolej Yayasan Pahang. The undergraduates from Faculty of Arabic & Islamic Studies were in Kuala Lumpur for a study tour that included visits to institutions of higher learning and regulatory bodies.
The Arabic-speaking students included first and second year students who are scheduled to complete the last two years of their study ay Yarmouk University in Jordan. Kolej Yayasan Pahang, which is owned by Pahang State Government, conducts and offers franchise academic programmes mainly from public universities in Malaysia and abroad.
Prof Zulkarnain Muhamad Sori was on hand to welcome the students and gave a briefing on postgraduate studies in Islamic Finance, and career opportunities in Islamic Finance. He also took questions from the students who wanted to find out about the rules and regulations pertaining to Islamic finance products, the roles played by Shariah scholars in the industry and the route to becoming an Islamic finance professional.
