Kuala Lumpur, 22 November 2016 – Former Governor Bank Negara Malaysia, also Chancellor at INCEIF, Tan Sri Dr Zeti Akhtar Aziz, has once again been awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award, this time from KLIFF2016, for her contributions in the Islamic finance arena.  All of us at INCEIF would like to take this opportunity to congratulate our Chancellor for yet another great achievement. 

Tan Sri Dr Zeti received her award at the KLIFF Islamic Finance 2016 Awards dinner yesterday which saw many outstanding individuals, institutions and corporations in the field of Islamic finance being rewarded and recognised for their achievements.

We would also like to congratulate Prof. Dr. Mohamad Akram Laldin, Executive Director, International Shari’ah Research Academy (ISRA) who was conferred the award of the 1st Category: Most Outstanding Individuals Contributions in Islamic finance at the KLIFF 2016 Awards dinner.

This KLIFF award is meant to honour, recognise and acknowledge the significant efforts and contributions by individuals and institutions in developing the Islamic finance industry.
