It is with great sadness that we inform you on the demise of INCEIF Adjunct Prof Dato’ Mohamed Ismail Mohamed Shariff. Allahyarham Dato’ Ismail was a valued member of the faculty. He served INCEIF from  2012 until the time of his passing.

An advocate & solicitor of 45 years’ standing, he has been engaged in Islamic banking since its introduction in Malaysia in 1983. He has appeared as leading counsel in landmark Islamic banking cases in the superior courts in Malaysia.

We extend our deepest condolences to the family.

We pray that Allah (SWT) will shower His mercy on him and grant him of Alfirdaus in the highest place and give his family patience in this difficult time.
