BNM Scholarship to Study at INCEIF

Kuala Lumpur, 14 March 2016 – Malaysians who are interested to pursue any of the three programmes at INCEIF – Masters in Islamic Finance Practice, MSc in Islamic Finance and PhD in Islamic Finance – and in need of financial assistance, may consider applying for the prestigious Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) scholarship. 

The BNM  Postgraduate (Master and PhD) Scholarships are awarded to eligible Malaysians who have received an offer to pursue or are currently pursuing postgraduate studies in selected fields of studies at selected leading universities locally and overseas. Among the fields of studies is Islamic Finance and INCEIF is one of the selected universities. 

Application for the scholarship will be closed on 30 April 2016. The next upcoming intake for the MIFP at INCEIF is June 2016 and for MSc and PhD, Sep 2016.

Candidates must fulfil the following minimum requirements:

  • Obtained a First Class (Honours) Bachelor / Master’s Degree from recognised local and overseas universities
  • Not exceeding 30 years of age for Master and 35 years of age for PhD on 1 July 2016
  • Passed SPM with credits in Bahasa Melayu and English subjects
  • Obtained an offer to pursue or is currently pursuing Postgraduate studies in 2016 from BNM’s list of approved universities.

Additional requirements include:

  • Strong leadership qualities, high teamwork capabilities, excel in both extra-curricular activities and sports
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
