Kuala Lumpur, 7 March 2016 : Applications for the prestigious Yang di-Pertuan Agong Scholarship for the 2016/2017 session at the Masters and Doctorate level in local or foreign institutions is now open. INCEIF is one of two universities listed in the list of approved universities for scholarship application to study Islamic finance.
According to a statement from the Public Service Department (JPA), the scholarship is open to all Malaysians aged 35 years old and below who are qualified to pursue their studies in science and technology; economics; Islamic law and finance. Among the qualifying conditions to apply for the scholarship are:
- A recognised degree/ Master with a minimum 3.75 CGPA or First Class Honours or equivalent;
- Active in co-curriculum or community activities or able to produce innovative and creative works
- Fluent in more than one international language
