Kuala Lumpur – INCEIF is pleased to add Maldives to its growing list of countries which recognises its Masters in Islamic Finance Practice (MIFP) programme. The recognition was officially awarded by the Maldives Qualification Agency.
To date, authorities in China, Indonesia, Oman, Pakistan, Turkey and Yemen have officially recognised INCEIF as a university or the MIFP programme.
With this recognition, INCEIF expects to further strengthen its presence in Maldives and increase the number of students.
Since 2014, INCEIF has been conducting the MIFP in Maldives in collaboration with Capital Market Development Authority (CMDA) and College of Islamic Studies. The collaboration offers 18 hours of face-to-face tutorials conducted in the country. In addition, there are online tutorials delivered by INCEIF faculty members. Currently there are 25 students pursuing the MIFP under this collaboration.
Apart from the on-site MIFP programme, INCEIF has been receiving students from the country to either study on campus in Kuala Lumpur or online.
