INCEIF has lined up personalities with extensive experience in their respective vocations from the banking, takaful, regulatory and legal industries. All will be imparting their knowledge and expertise to participants at the upcoming Executive School which will be held in Kuala Lumpur between 9 – 15 August 2015.
Malaysian Court of Appeal Judge the Honourable Justice Datuk Dr Haji Hamid Sultan Abu Backer will discuss the settlement of dispute in Islamic banking and finance, through the workings and processes of the court.
From Indonesia, Deputy Commissioner of Banking Supervision at Indonesia Financial Services Authority Dr. Mulya E. Siregar will give an inside into the Indonesian market and the potential growth of Islamic banking and finance in a market with the largest Muslim population in the world.
CIMB Islamic Bank Bhd executive director and CEO Badlisyah Abdul Ghani will share with participants, on-the-ground knowledge on the growth potential of Islamic banking, not only in Malaysia but also regionally as the bank has built a reputable regional presence in Asean countries. This includes strategic initiatives such as the Islamic mega-bank initiative and potential niche-type initiatives such as Islamic microfinance.
Partner (Assurance Insurance) at Ernst & Young Partner, Mr Brandon Bruce Sta Maria, will share the firm’s view on the global Takaful outlook. As a consulting firm, E&Y has conducted research in insurance and takaful, looking at the regional growth areas as well as buying trends amongst consumers.
