INCEIF today hosted visitors from MIT Sloan School of Management who are on campus to have a closer look at INCEIF as a university which focused on Islamic finance studies. They were MIT Sloan Deputy Dean Prof SP Kothari and Office of International Programme Executive Director Mr David Capodulipo.

The visitors were accompanied by Bank Negara Malaysia Assistant Governor Marzunisham Omar and The Governor’s Office Deputy Director Mr Allen Ng. On hand to receive them were INCEIF Chief Operations Officer Mr Mohd Zamree Ishak, Chief Academic Officer Prof Datuk Dr Syed Othman Alhabshi, First Holder of INCEIF Chair of Islamic Finance Prof Abbas Mirakhor, Emeritus Prof Datuk Mohamed Ariff and Emeritus Prof Dr Seyed Kazem Sadr.
Mr Zamree and Datuk Syed Othman later briefed them on INCEIF and its programmes. INCEIF and MIT Sloan are looking into the possibilities of exploring collaboration opportunities on academic and research matters. Following the discussion, the guests were taken on a tour of the INCEIF campus.
