INCEIF’s Lecturer of Islamic Economics, Dr Magda Ismail Abdel Mohsin, appears today on Capital TV to talk about the characteristics of Prophet Muhammad S.A.W which made him one of the most influential persons in the world. The episode on the Prophet is in conjunction with Maulidur Rasul, the celebration to mark his date of birth which falls today 12 Rabiuawal.

In Capital TV’s special programme titled `Prophet Muhammad S.A.W’, Dr Magda elaborated on the Prophet’s strengths as a leader of his people, an administrator, a politician, a war strategist and a businessman. Through it all, the Prophet was also known for his good practices as a husband, father, grandfather and human being. He was known as Al Sadek (honest) and Al Amin (trusty worthy) among the Muslims and non-Muslims.

She also shared with viewers the concept of an entrepreneur in the eyes of Islam with emphasis on the prohibition of riba’ and the promotion of just and honesty in all aspects of the business.
