INCEIF today received visitors from the Afghanistan Insurance Authority, represented by Director General Mr. Fazalbari Mumtaz and General Manager of Customer Service Mr. Mohammad Wais Hakimzada.

They were in Kuala Lumpur in a visit hosted by the Malaysian Insurance Institute and took the opportunity to learn about the Malaysian experience in developing the takaful industry alongside the conventional insurance. At INCEIF, they wanted specifically to find out the study and training options for the Afghanistan Insurance Authority staff  in the field of takaful. INCEIF Head of CIPF (Chartered Islamic Finance Programme) and Teaching Fellow Mr Ezamshah Ismail was on hand to brief the visitors on INCEIF, its academic and executive programmes as well as the research and consultancy work.
