INCEIF was honoured to receive Turkey’s Deputy Prime Minister Mr Ali Babacan at INCEIF’s GIFF 2012 exhibition booth at Sasana Kijang Kuala Lumpur today. Accompanied by Bank Negara Malaysia Governor Tan Sri Dr Zeti Akhtar Aziz, he toured the hall where 25 exhibitors put up booths to promote their respective organisations.

At the booth, Mr Babacan was briefed on INCEIF’s programmes and efforts in developing talent for the global Islamic finance industry. He was also introduced to a number of INCEIF’s Malaysian and foreign graduates, who are currently working in Malaysia.
Earlier, Mr Babacan delivered a public lecture on “Islamic Finance in the New Frontier in the Age of Global Economic Change” at the opening ceremony of GIFF (Global Islamic Finance Forum) 2012. This is the third GIFF hosted by Bank Negara Malaysia.
