Good luck for your final exams

A total of 547 full time and online distance learning INCEIF students from all over the world sat for their June 2012 semester final examinations today. The first three papers were IE1001 – Islamic Economics, SH2002 – Shariah Issues in Islamic Finance (for Chartered Islamic Finance Professional) and FN5123/6123 – Fiqh Muamalat (for Masters in Islamic Finance and PhD in Islamic Finance).

In Malaysia, the examination which ends on Tuesday, 31 July 2012, is held at the  International Institute of Advanced Islamic Studies located next to the campus. Outside Kuala Lumpur, the exams are held at Bank Negara Malaysia branches in Penang, Johor, Sabah and Sarawak. In total, there are 11 papers which the students have to sit for depending on their programmes and semesters.
Elsewhere in the world, the examination is held  at 34 temporary exam centres including the Malaysian Embassies and Consulates (Riyadh, Muscat, Doha, Abu Dhabi, Manama, Cairo, New York, London, Melbourne, Sydney and Singapore) and universities (Kampala, Kano, Lagos, Mogadishu, Karachi, Islamabad, Southampton, Jakarta and Surabaya).
The results for the exams are expected to be finalised by the middle of August. The Sep 2012 semester will start on Monday, 3 Sep 2012, and the Student Day for newly registered students is on Saturday, 1 Sep 2012.
