A group of 10 postgraduate students from the College of Business at the University of Texas at San Antonio, USA, had a chance to learn more about Islamic finance and the industry’s development in Malaysia during their visit today.

The visitors got to know about INCEIF from INCEIF  Chief Operations Officer Mr Mohd Zamree Ishak’s presentation on the overview of INCEIF. Head of Research Dr. Mohd Pisal Zainal spoke on `Achievements & Challenges of Islamic Finance’, followed by  Head of Consulting and Executive Programmes Prof. Dr. Saiful Azhar Rosly who elaborated on `What is Islamic Finance’.  Lastly, ISRA Researcher  Ms Hakimah Yaakob spoke on `Malaysia Shariah Governance Framework’.

The students were accompanied by Prof. Dr. Saegert (Marketing Department), Prof. Dr. Lopez (Accounting Department) and Ms Lisa Marie Gomez, Director of International Operations.
