A group of 17 officials from Central Officials Training Institute (COTI) Republic of Korea, headed by Business Support Director, Mr. Yoon Soegtae visited INCEIF today to learn more about the development of Islamic Finance in Malaysia. They were welcomed to INCEIF by Chief Operations Officer, Mr Mohd Zamree Ishak.
COTI, an agency under Ministry of Administration and Security (MOPAS), Republic of Korea, was established to develop outstanding government officials by providing general and specialized training for central government employees. COTI also serves as a support for other public-sector training institutes across Korea while promoting cooperatives and exchange of activities with other private sectors.

Mr Mohd Zamree briefed the group on the efforts undertaken by INCEIF to develop qualified talents in Islamic Finance and further spearheading the knowledge to enhance Islamic Finance industries. He also took questions from the delegates. Earlier in March 2010, the Republic of Korea Ambassador to Malaysia H.E. Yang Bong Ryull also visited INCEIF to find out more about INCEIF and its programmes.
Apart from INCEIF, they also visited National Institute of Public Administration, Malaysia (INTAN) and Association of Islamic Banking Institutions Malaysia (AIBIM).
