This course is designed to prepare potential or current students in the Masters (by research) and PhD programs. Besides lectures and discussions, it provides hands-on guidance on how to effectively plan, manage and write a PhD dissertation.

Learning Outcomes
At the end of this course, participants are expected to able to:
Plan and manage a research program.
Identify a viable Research Topic for a PhD thesis.
Develop the research topic into a viable research proposal.
Drafting a full-fledged research proposal that comprise of 3 main chapters: Introduction, Literature Review and methodology.
