Established in December 2005, the International Centre of Education in Islamic Finance (INCEIF) has been primarily established and entrusted by Bank Negara Malaysia to produce high quality human capital resources for the global Islamic finance industry. In line with its vision to be the knowledge leader in Islamic finance, INCEIF has showed extensive commitment to the arena of research since its foundation. Thus, in, the Research Management Centre was established.
INCEIF engages in research projects, book publications, journals and working paper series with internal and external individuals as well as industry experts.
With a world-class resource centre, research outputs and publication of INCEIF are in-depth, insightful and practical.
In brief, INCEIF’s RMC is a:

Director of Research Management Centre
The Department is currently headed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Baharom Abdul Hamid. Dr. Baharom joined INCEIF in 2015, as an associate professor of the School of Professional Studies (SPS). Prior to joining INCEIF, he worked as a lecturer in University Putra Malaysia (2008-2010) and served as associate professor in Taylor’s University for five years.
He holds a PhD in International Economics from University Putra Malaysia, Malaysia. His area of specialisation is Applied Macroeconomics, with strong interest in Economics of Crime, Natural Disaster and Military Expenditure.
