Event Details

This IFSB-INCEIF Executive Forum offers a platform for high level deliberations and exchanges of views among participants – global leaders from among practitioners, regulators and academics – on the strategies and approaches in managing risks in Islamic banking operations. Among others, the two-day Executive Forum will see the sharing of experiences and discussions on case studies of specific issues facilitated by experienced speakers from among regulators, industry leaders and academics. The participants will benefit from differing views of counterparts and peers of different backgrounds and geographical locations.

The IFSB-INCEIF Executive Forum will provide participants a broader perspective of the issues, especially those related to the supervision and prudential regulation of the global Islamic Fi-nancial services industry.

The Executive Forum on Building Risk Management Infrastructures in Islamic Financial Institutions will discuss the various risks inherent in Islamic banks, and look at the different approaches and issues in the management and minimisation of these risks. It will also take a broader and more holistic perspective, with topics and discussions on the global regulatory challenges and their impact on the Islamic financial services industry at national and international levels, and from the market and regulator viewpoints.
